Chris Bell, Norman, OK Chase Briscoe, Mitchell, IN(12-2-2011) - The Tour’N’Topless Sprint Car Series (TNTSCS) will kick off its sim racing schedule at the oh so grueling Volusia Raceway located in the South of the United States in Volusia, FL. At the prestigeous Volusia Raceway will kick off the first of a twelve race series planned for the TNTSCS.
The series is scheduled to run on Thursday nights, beginning on December 15th, racing until the end of March, excluding the weeks of the Tulsa Shootout, Dirt Late Model Sim Florida Nationals, Chili Bowl Midget Nationals, and Bubba’s Winter Dirt Games.
Drivers from across the globe are expected to compete in the inaugural Tour’N’Topless Sprint Car Series, generating some of the best online racing to be seen. The TNTSCS will be featuring the popular BOZ Non Wing Sprint Car Mod.
Rules/Format
Format-
Hot-laps 5 Laps (8-10 cars)
Heat Race- Heat race will be lined up by a random draw. Passing points will be awarded, I have
attacthed a picture of the passing points chart.
Heat Race 2- This will be lined up by passing points and inverted according to car count.
Top 16 after heat races will be locked into the "A-Main" Feature will be lined straight up
from passing points.
B Main- Top 4 cars will transfer to main event. B Main will be 15 laps.
Feature- 30 Laps.
Rules-
-The start will be official only upon the starter signaling with the green flag.
-In the event a pacecar is used, all cars shall take their proper position behind it.
In the event a pace car is not used, the pole car will set the pace which shall be consistent
with track conditions and as required to keep the field in formation.
-On single file restarts when the leader takes off it is racing THROUGH THE FIELD. This is also
the case for initial start.
Drivers must stay single file bumper to nose until leader goes, you may not pull to inside
of a car coming to restart (outside is acceptable).
-Two spin rule.
-Any car that is involved in two unassisted yellow flags will be disqualified for that race.
-Only the driver/drivers that bring out the yellow will have a yellow counted towards their "two spins"
-Passing, There are no rules on slide jobs all though if we have to keep warning you for "bad" slide jobs,
you will be parked!
-If you flip you will be parked for that event.
-View will be open.
-No Moving on Grid. 1st Warning-Verbal Warning. 2nd Warning-Sent to tail. 3rd Warning-Parked for the night.
-No Wall Riding. 1st Warning-If intentional will be moved to back. 2nd Warning- No points, parked for one race.
-Teamspeak, no talking during race besides getting a penalty. Call out your name when this occurs.
First time you will recieve a warning, second time you will be docked 5 spots for talking.
-Language, no vulgar language. One warning after that you will be parked, second warning two race suspension.
-Do not argue with officials, our decisions are final!
-If you have a problem with another driver please wait till race is over. Wait till after race and you
are allowed to argue until next race starts, or admins say otherwise.
